I Thought of a Maze of Mazes
Inspired by the magical realist short story "The Garden of Forking Paths" by Jorge Luis Borges, the installation 'I Thought of a Maze of Mazes' explores the narratives of the wood-boring beetle, highlighting the cyclical nature of creation and destruction. This piece calls for a radical departure from traditional anthropocentric modes of perception, urging a profound re-evaluation of our ethical stance toward non-human species and the environment, while at the same time honouring ancient, sustainable ways of coexisting.
