TRANSFORMATION – 2D / 3D digital modelling / 3D printing
Always everything is constantly changing.
How can objects metamorphose, mutate and be modified into a new hybrid? How can objects/spaces be translated into multiple variations and iterations? Is it a matter of definition?
The principles of transformation of geometry and materials were explored in the course through a series of manipulations. Geometric transformation has been investigated as a design form generation strategy.
The course served as an introduction to 2D/3D digital modeling and 3D printing, guiding participants through the design process in Rhino and various techniques and methods of visualization. They were able to visualize and realize various transformation processes.
